In the beginning I could remember green leaves and magic coursing through the land. I had a loving family and we lived in a secret paradise beneath the light of the twin Moons. The Black Shroud provided for us and kept us safe, until the day the sky burned.Things were not the same. The forest became darker, and provided less. The docile fey creatures became unpredictable. The magic of the land became altered. Then the men with the machines came and there became fewer places for us to hide. The Sylphs became angry and fearful. The air was heavy with the acrid smell of lightning deep within the heart of our forest.Our parents never returned from hunting one night. I waited with my sister in our hiding place until the Moon set. I wanted to stay. I wanted to wait for them to come back. But I wanted my sister and I to be safe more. So I told her we had to be brave and leave.We ran. We ran until the leaves started to let the sun shine through and then parted to reveal the edge of the world. Our home was behind us, a deep lake in front of us, and beyond that was the largest village we had ever seen. From across the lake the breeze carried the scent of roasted meats and blooming flowers. The trees cradled the village on all sides. I vowed to myself that no matter how scary it was, I would do whatever was needed for us to survive. I put on a brave face and a smile. I promised Zana that we would find a home beneath the Moon again - and that we would dance beneath Her light just as we did and always will.

Usual HauntsAt dawn and dusk, you can usually find Rhoe running around Gridania with a bow in her hand and a smile on her face. At night, she likes to dance beneath the light of the Moon in the Black Shroud. During the day, she is probably napping in her makeshift home near the Leatherworker's Guild with her sister Zana. Rhoe likes her daily routines.New DevelopmentsRhoe has begun training as an Archer to better support her sister with hunting and also to learn more about Gridanian culture. Rhoe is a Private with the Twin Adders of Gridania and accepts missions which take place within the Black Shroud.Rhoe works part-time at the Gold Saucer as a 'Gate Girl' during more prominent events when she needs a little more coin and can afford to be away from her sister for a stretch of time.Rhoe has recently stumbled into working at Ace's Casino in the Lavender Beds, hoping to gain experience with Gridanian culture and the world of dance she wishes to pursue.
